Mission:
Founded in 2006, the Mason County Manufacturers Association was formed to create a foundation for area manufacturers to share best practices, share training opportunities, and be a source of support in our quest to remain competitive in the global marketplace. The association currently has thirteen members.

Objective:
  1.  To provide members with a return on their investment in the association.
   2. To provide training and tools for continuous improvement and success of area manufacturers.
   3. To share best practices among Mason County Manufacturers.
   4. To provide a unified response to issues raised by the community affecting manufacturers.
   5. To promote manufacturing and the positive impact it has on the community.

Highlights of 2007 Accomplishments:
   1. 15 Mason County Manufacturers join MCMA
   2. Initiated Wage & Benefit Survey
   3. March 2007 - Best Practices Tour - Metalworks
   4. Established List Serve Network for Communication between Member companies
   5. May 2007 - MCMA assists in promotion of new Occupational Health Clinic
   6. May 2007 - Best Practices Tour - Whitehall Industries
   7. Fall 2007 - Lean User Group Training. A partnerhsip between Michigan Works, West Shore Community College, MCMA          and the Mason County Growth Alliance (30 participants form 9 local companies)
   8. Fall 2007 Supervisory Training Seminar
